Hey there! I'm Tim, and I'm thrilled to share that I've been welding for over 40 years now! Back in 1993, I launched my own business right out of Oxford, Massachusetts, and what a journey it has been! Since then, I've had the joy of working in scrap yards, construction sites, aggregate, concrete & asphalt plants, bagging facilities, manufacturing companies, and even small family-owned businesses. When you give us a call, you'll always get to chat directly with one of our friendly and experienced team members!
Recently, I passed the reins to my wonderful daughter-in-law and her husband, who are now running the family business. Don't worry, I still love picking up the phone myself! I’m dedicated to meeting your personal needs and deadlines, and I’ve transitioned to being the Product Support Manager. Remember, no job is too small or too big for us!
Over the years, I've tackled all sorts of exciting repair and fabrication projects! From fixing heavy equipment buckets, booms, dump bodies, shredders, and tub grinders to the tiniest jobs, we’ve got it all covered. Plus, we offer on-site line boring and axle spindle repair services. Our mobile vehicles and trailers are fully equipped to handle all your welding needs with a smile!
I've been into welding since my trade school days, and right after graduating, I jumped straight into being a fabricator and welder! I've explored different areas of the field to discover all the amazing techniques welding has to offer. Over the years, I've built a fantastic reputation with my customers. So, in 1988, I decided to take the plunge and start my own business. At first, it was just me, welding and helping customers with repairs and services, and that's how Legacy Welding & Repair Company came to life! I officially formed Legacy Welding in 2015 because I wanted to keep the trade alive for my kids and grandkids.
Now, we’re a proud women-owned small business, but we still operate like a tight-knit family, providing our customers with the same fantastic service I did back in '88. I always say, "A penny saved is a dollar earned," which means I can pass those savings on to my customers and build wonderful partnerships. I've now handed the reins over to my daughter-in-law, and her family is running the company just like I did for years. They’re even teaching their kids the trade, hoping to keep the Legacy going strong!
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
